Ms. M.

By a strange set of circumstances I've started a correspondence with a gentleman and he doesn't know my full name. He has started calling me Ms. M. I kind of like it. I like the idea of being a mystery. I'm a terribly boring person normally that I like the idea of being even just a little mysterious. It is fun to pretend just a little, even if it is just on paper with a stranger.

LEX Replies

Sending out some replies to some folks that sent me some LEX letters this weekend. Some folks I do hope they reply, and some others I don't imagine they will. It was fun to reply to their answers to my LEX listings though, and that is worth my time at the very least.

I've been exchanging letter with one of my LWA pals and he sent this lovely card to me just to let me know that a letter will be on the way, isn't that ultra wonderful?

Last summer we saw a great production of Twelfth Night by No Holds Bard. Something about this portrait reminded me of that production and I thought I would put in the quote for this postcard.


This is another of the great Steve McCurry Postcards that I'm totally digging, think I'm going to send several in the next couple of weeks.

Sendsomething is still down. Decided to go with Postcrossing instead for a while. I know it isn't required to send anything for my 365 handwriting project, but once you start something, it is kind of like an avalanche and you don't really want to slow it down.


I love these Phaidon press postcards. I found them secondhand the other day and am totally in love with the Steve McCurry portraits.

Something to Send 9/31

For July I've decided that my handwriting 365 theme is going to be sendsomething postcards.


Sendsomething.net is down. Hopefully for not long. I dug up an old address from a great person that sent me something through sendsomething for this postcard. Will have to come up with an alternate plan if still down next month.
